Factory Settings at Monkey Barrel Comedy (MB4)

Serena Terry premieres her first ever one-woman play at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Serena attempts to factory reset her anxious mind as part of a clinical trial using a newly developed cognitive update chip, but her outdated Irish programming, chaotic inner voices and family settings conflict and cause havoc with the neurological reset. Funny, heartfelt and painfully relatable, the show follows Serena as she tries to delete old coping mechanisms, inherited beliefs and self-sabotaging habits. Blending humour, heart and a distinctly Irish perspective, it is a story about growing up, breaking down and learning that not everything needs fixing.
