Bad Boy at Underbelly Cowgate

Bad Boy is a solo comedy featuring live original music about struggling musician Jack, whose life begins to unravel over a series of days as he prepares for a career-defining record label audition. Partly inspired by writer and performer Daniel Adolfsson's own experiences, Jack moves between friends, bar gigs, and dates, clinging to the idea that success will fix everything while long-avoided truths start to catch up with him. Performing a blend of blues, folk, and pop original music, a more vulnerable and truthful side to Jack emerges as he explores self-loathing, shame, and the cycle of repeated mistakes. The show is written, directed, and performed by Daniel Adolfsson and marks the Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut of both Adolfsson and Nerve Creations.
