Al-Sirah Al-Hilaliyyah is a reimagining of a legendary 14th-century epic poem, brought to life through physical theatre and live music by Khashabi Theatre. The performance melds Palestinian folklore with Arab performance styles, aiming to preserve this at-risk narrative. With Bashar Murkus and Khulood Basel at the helm, the production asks profound questions about humanity, offering a unique cultural reflection. The show will run from August 7 to August 30, 2026, at the Edinburgh International Festival.
