The Legend of Sleepy Hollow at The Sarasota Players

This festive play follows new schoolmaster Ichabod Crane as he arrives in Sleepy Hollow. He contends with ghost stories, winning the heart of the wealthy Katrina, and dealing with his rival for her affections, Brom Bones. And of course, we can’t forget the appearance of one of the most famous ghosts in America, The Headless Horseman. This play is based off the short story by Washington Irving. Wear your Halloween costume, there will be a costume contest each night! This is an outdoor event. Please bring your own chairs or blankets, blankets will be seated closer to the front of the stage. A limited number of chairs may be available at the door while supplies last. The show will start promptly at 6pm.
