The final day of the fifth annual Schmidt Vocal Arts National Competition features a morning master class with Dr. Alexis Davis-Hazell, Anthony Dean Griffey, and Kathleen Kelly, followed by the Final Round in which up to 16 finalists compete for cash prizes including $10,000 for First Place, $7,500 for Second Place, and $5,000 for Third Place. The Final Round is adjudicated by soprano Latonia Moore, mezzo-soprano Sasha Cooke, and Christopher Cano, Director of the Washington National Opera's Cafritz Young Artist Program. An awards ceremony follows the judges' deliberation.
