Enchanted April is a romantic comedy by Matthew Barber, adapted from the novel by Elizabeth von Arnim. Frustrated by London's rain and their humdrum lives, two English housewives escape their malaise by renting a wisteria-covered villa in Italy with two other very different English women and eventually the men who love them. There, in the Mediterranean sunshine, all four rediscover themselves in unexpected ways.
