Lines, Circles + Spirals at Old First Concerts

Ensemble for These Times will present a concert featuring contemporary works that explore musical interpretations of shapes and geometry, including compositions by Karim Al-Zand, Clarice Assad, and Anna Clyne. The performance, titled Lines, Circles + Spirals, will take place on November 7, 2025, at Old First Concerts in San Francisco and will include a musical dialogue with Bohuslav Martinu's Duo No. 1. The ensemble features soprano Nanette McGuinness, cellist Megan Chartier, and pianist Margaret Halbig, with guest violinist Maya Victoria joining them for the performance.
