California Symphony opens its 2022-23 Season, celebrating its tenth season with Music Director Donato Cabrera at the helm with "Intersections," a program of jubilant works including a tribute to Ukraine. The program features Israeli American cellist Inbal Segev performing Anna Clynes vivid "DANCE," plus Zoltn Kodlys masterful "Dances of Galnta," Tchaikovskys imaginative "Symphony No. 2" highlighting Ukrainian folksong motifs, and Ukrainian composer Myroslav Skoryks "Melody for Symphony Orchestra," which is considered Ukraine's second national anthem.
