Featuring material from such great historic journals as Colliers Magazine and The New Yorker and transforming them into a series of animated theatrical monologues. Jack Kerouac's recollection of the famous Six Gallery poetry reading in 1955 where the Beat scene was born, Jack London's terrifying eyewitness account of the '06 earthquake and fire, H.L. Mencken's humorous story of the Bourbon fueled 1920 Democratic National Convention in San Francisco, Mark Twain's impressions of 1860's San Francisco, Plus the poetic and historic writings from the author of the best selling book Cool Gray City of Love: 49 Views of San Francisco - Gary Kamiya.
