28th Annual San Francisco International Hip Hop DanceFest at Palace of Fine Arts

Micaya presents the 28th Annual San Francisco International Hip Hop DanceFest, featuring a highly curated selection of performances by prestigious dance companies from around the world, including Tokyo, Montreal, Mexico City, Detroit, Los Angeles, and the Bay Area. The program showcases high energy, athletic dance works drawing from a variety of hip hop styles, including jit, waacking, b-boying, breakdancing and others. Special events include a Freestyle Dance Contest hosted by Fae Salfiti, a Kids Freestyle Onstage Session, and an afterparty with light bites, a DJ, and an awards ceremony. Performing companies include Aalign Movement, Bliss Dance Company, Good Time Company, House of Jit, and Lemuria.
