Willows Theatre Stages ANNIE, JR. 7/17-7/18 And BEAUTY & THE BEAST 7/28-8/2

Willows Theatre Conservatory SummerStage to stage productions of DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and ANNIE, JR.

Musicals cap Junior and Senior summer conservatory programs; Public Performances of "Beauty" run July 28-Aug 2; "Annie, Jr." July 17-18 on Willows Mainstage in Concord.

The Willows Theatre Conservatory is excited to announce its 2009 totally family-friendly SummerStage productions. As a culmination of its 4-week program for 8-11 year-olds, SummerStage Junior will present a fully staged production of the musical Annie, Jr., July 17-18.

SummerStage Senior, for 12-18 year-olds, will cap its six-week program with a fully staged production of the musical Disney's Beauty and the Beast, July 28-August 2.

Disney's Beauty and the Beast is one of the most popular family shows in recent memory to leap from Broadway and land on stages all over the country. Annie, Jr., is a shorter, sunnier, more kid-friendly version of the original Broadway musical.

Both shows will be presented in public performances on the Willows Theatre Mainstage, 1975 Diamond Blvd. in Concord.

Disney's Beauty and the Beast runs July 28, 29, 30, 31, and August 1 at 7:30 p.m. Matinees are July 31, August 1 and 2 at 1:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students. Groups of 10 or more are $10 per ticket.

Annie, Jr. runs July 17 and 18 at 7:00 p.m., with a matinee on July 18 at 1:00 p.m. All tickets are $5.
