THE FANTASTICKS, with a book and lyrics by Tom Jones and music by Harvey Schmidt will be directed by Bill English and play the SF Playhouse thru September 4.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary, THE FANTASTICS is re-imagined in a world devastated by Global warming to bring new resonance to its theme of hope and of facing the truth, before one can grow. Beautiful melodies, among them the hit songs "Try to Remember" and "Soon It's Gonna Rain" sparkle throughout the comedy and evoke the agony and rapture of being young, full of dreams, and giddy with love.

MADHOUSE RHYTHM, written and performed by Joshua Walters will play July 11, 18, 25 and August 1 at 7pm. Tickets are $20.

An autobiographical collage based on one man's experience with Bipolar disorder. A variety of styles, including hip hop theater, spoken word, and beatbox infuse this humorous tale. Join Joshua as he takes you inside the mind of a man captured in the throes of a psychotic breakdown, forced to make sense of being locked away in a madhouse.
