The Hombres at Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, The Old Globe

The Hombres, written by Tony Meneses and directed by James Vásquez, is a comedy about Hector and his crew of construction workers whose catcalling draws complaints from a neighboring yoga studio, leading instructor Julián to invite them to try a class. The play offers a funny and deeply human look at machismo, friendship, and the quiet bonds that form when men open their guard down. The cast includes Jonny Beauchamp as Julián, Robert Lenzi as Miles, Jesse J. Perez as Pedro, Jason Sanchez as Beto, and Martín Solá as Hector. This production marks the San Diego premiere of the award-winning and critically acclaimed play.
