A musical comedy about a cursed supermarket. When a hideous plague threatens to destroy the Super Duper Store, it's up to bright-eyed new trainee Melody Elbow to save the day - but is she up to the challenge?
Nicola McEldowney is an actress, playwright and puppeteer. Her first musical, "Aisle Six," tells the story of a supermarket with a hideous plague on it, an idea inspired by a former workplace. "Aisle Six" got its start in a pair of staged readings at the Players Club of NYC. Nicola works professionally as a puppeteer in Boston, New York, and other spots in the Northeast. She is a graduate of Columbia University, where she studied French, and the Université Paris III Sorbonne-Nouvelle, where she studied theatre. Nicola recently appeared in the New York Children's Theater Festival and another Fringe production of "Aisle Six" in Portland, Maine. She is also the creator of the adult puppet play "The Golden Stoat" which was recently performed at the Puppet Showplace Theatre in Boston.
