But just as Viola falls in love with her new boss, the beautiful Olivia - whom Orsino is pursuing - finds herself attracted to this new young man, who's really Viola in disguise. Meanwhile, the servant Maria and the drunken Sir Toby Belch conspire to enact a riotous revenge on the hilariously presumptuous servant Malvolio. This magical comedy is filled with Shakespeare's most indelible comedic characters and sidesplitting situations.

The Old Globe today announced the cast and creative team for the World Premiere of Some Lovers, a new musical with book and lyrics by Tony and Grammy Award winner Steven Sater and music by Academy and Grammy Award-winning legend Burt Bacharach. Directed by Will Frears with music supervision by Lon Hoyt and choreography by Denis Jones, Some Lovers will run Nov. 26 - Dec. 31 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run Nov. 26 - Dec. 6. POW Foundation Holds Free Street Beat Drum & Dance Class, 10/22

Visiting drum and dance troupe Street Beat will host a clinic with local dance and drum students on Saturday, October 22nd at 5pm. The clinic will feature a troupe of dance students and a troupe of drummers who will work with the Los Angeles-based Street Beat. Dancers will work with choreographer Ryan Johnson in one area while drummers will work in the main theater with Ben Hansen, Creator, Director, Composer & Drummer for Street Beat. After 45 minutes of instruction, the two groups will come together for a dazzling production number.
