Marine biologist and National Geographic Explorer Dr. Erika Woolsey takes audiences on a series of dives through the Great Barrier Reef, exploring its most colorful residents while confronting the harsh reality that more than half of the coral has died due to ocean warming and bleaching. Woolsey is a divemaster and virtual reality filmmaker whose research has taken her to reefs around the world. The presentation highlights both the wonders that remain and the ongoing efforts to protect them.
