A 20th anniversary revival of Carol Lynn Pearson's play about Ruth (Christy Summerhays) and Alex McCormick (Jay Perry), a Mormon couple reeling from their son's suicide who unexpectedly encounter his partner Marcus (Kaplan Keener) for the first time. The play is an exploration of faith and family, running 70 minutes with no intermission. Originally receiving its world premiere at Plan-B Theatre in Salt Lake City in 2006, the production went on to play off-Broadway and in San Francisco, earning numerous awards including Best Local Production from QSaltLake and Best Drama from Deseret News.
