Hadestown Teen Edition at Sutter Street Theatre

Hadestown Teen Edition opens April 18 at Sutter Street Theatre in Folsom in a double-cast production featuring the Rattlesnake Cast — Jamari Lewis, Jaxon Espinosa, William Slack, Audrey Arnold, and Zaraha Mora — and the Songbird Cast — Anberlynn Reeves, Desmond Nelson, Jelani Todd, Audrey Burde, and Aaliyah Thomas. The production brings the mythic story of Orpheus and Eurydice to the stage, set in a Depression-era world where the god Hades rules an industrial underworld. This Tony Award-winning musical features a blues- and jazz-infused score by Anaïs Mitchell.
