Amélie: Teen Edition at Irvington Theater

Broadway Training Center (BTC) has been creating theater non-stop and nurturing a sense of community for 34 years, nestled in the historic village of Hastings-on-Hudson, NY. The nationally awarded youth theater group is delighted to bring Amélie: Teen Edition to the Irvington Theater this March! Based on the 2001 French language romantic comedy film of the same name, this musical is bound to leave audiences feeling uplifted and inspired. The show will feature the school's prestigious Senior Ensemble Program, which is directed by BTC’s Artistic Directors of over 20 years, Jason Brantman and Fiona Santos.

Take the entire family on a whimsical journey into the quiet magic of everyday life with Amélie: Teen Edition. This inspiring musical tells the story of Amélie Poulain, a shy but imaginative young woman who sees the world a little differently than everyone else. The Drama League Award nominated Broadway production premiered in 2017 and was praised for its inventive staging, imaginative use of actors as musicians, and its deeply human storytelling. Since then, Amélie has enjoyed international productions and regional success, earning acclaim for its charm, emotional depth, and unique theatrical style.
