Sunny's Gifts and Things is a workshop production that explores the lives of five strangers seeking refuge from Hurricane Iwa in a small tourist shop in 1982 Waikiki, Hawaii. As they navigate the storm, the characters embark on a journey filled with unexpected connections and heartfelt reunions. This prequel to Middletown Mall is written by Lava Alapai and promises to blend humor with poignant moments, highlighting the ties that bind us even in tumultuous times.
