Portland Revel's a cappella women's group, ViVoce, presents its annual winter concert on Saturday, January 23 at 7:30 pm and on Sunday, January 24 at 5:00 pm at St. Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church in N.E. Portland, on the theme of "Bold Adventures & Merry Tales."

Guest Artists: Anne-Louise Sterry, international award winning storyteller, singer, speaker, author, songwriter, and Bob Sterry, poet, writer, marketing coach.

Fun for all ages! The group will perform songs of adventure and merry-making, including Palestrina's "Salvator Mundi", Schumann's "Meerfey" (The Mermaids), and folk songs "Steal Away", "Maid on the Shore", and "Henry Martin". Readings for the concert include selections by Geoffrey Chaucer, Robert Louis Stevenson, and Mary Oliver. No pre-reservations are necessary and a suggested donation of $10 to $20 per person to support the group will be accepted at the door. A reception with light refreshments will follow the concert.

Saturday Concert begins at 7:30 pm; doors open at 7 pm.
Sunday Concert begins at 5:00 pm; doors open at 4:30.
St Michael and All Angels Church is located at 1704 NE 43rd Ave in Portland.


ViVoce, Portland Revels' Women's Ensemble, is a chorus of 15 voices under the artistic direction of Anne-Marie Endres. ViVoce offers two concerts per year to the public along with selected concerts for assisted living communities and other groups in need. Portland Revels brings you the Christmas Revels stage show every holiday season as well as year-round activities; building community through music.
