Lakewood Theatre Company opens its 74th season with the Portland-area premiere of the musical Hands on a Hardbody. This production, directed by Thomas C. Graff, follows ten hardworking individuals as they participate in an endurance contest to win a new pickup truck in Longview, Texas. Featuring a mix of rock, country, and folk music, the show explores themes of ambition and the pursuit of the American Dream. Music is provided by Trey Anastasio and Amanda Green, with additional lyrics by Amanda Green.
