Twelfth Night at Struts & Frets Theatre Company

Struts & Frets Theatre Co. presents Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare, directed and adapted by Hannah Fawcett, Artistic Director. Original music composed by Bryce Hayes. The play will be performed at Monmouth Main St Park Amphitheater (120 Main St. Monmouth, OR 97361) on August 7-9th, 13-15th 2026, at 7 p.m. The house opens at 6p.

Dry Town Tap Station will have their beer garden and food carts located next to Dry Town will be open for all performances!

August 14th will be ASL Interpreted, sponsored by Maps Credit Union.

Twelfth Night is set during and after the events of the Willamette Valley Flood of 1894. In Portland, the waters rose as high as 33 feet. At the beginning of the story, Viola is separated from her twin brother, Sebastian by the flood. Viola washes up in an unfamiliar land, Monmouth-Independence (aka Illyria), and disguises herself as a young man named Cesario and goes to work on a local filbert farm. A production full of love triangles, mistaken identities, and music. Twelfth Night is a family friendly production for all ages!

S&F partners with Dallas High School Theatre’s Career Technical Education program to foster the growth of students that are interested in pursuing a career in theatre. Local high school students perform and work alongside veteran actors and technicians to gain valuable training and practical experiences.
