Now in its third season, the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh's CrosSING Bridges initiative returns as a participatory singing workshop. The morning of community music-making will be led by Dr. Herbert V.R.P. Jones, founder and director of the Heritage Gospel Chorale of Pittsburgh and one of the nation's foremost experts on Gospel music. Attendees will learn about the history and significance of Gospel music through group singing and conversation, with no prior experience required.
