Written by Lynne Conner and directed by Linda Haston, Wade in the Water is a historical drama set in 1851 Pittsburgh that follows a Black family on their journey to Canada to escape Southern slavery. The play is part of Prime Stage Theatre's 30th season celebrating the American experience past, present, and future.
