BACK TO THE FUTURE: The Musical arrives in Pittsburgh as part of the 2025 PNC Summer of Musicals. This adaptation of the iconic film follows Marty McFly, who inadvertently changes history when he travels back to 1955 in a time machine invented by the eccentric Doc Brown. With a book by Bob Gale, and music and lyrics by Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard, the production promises to transport audiences on a thrilling journey through time. The show is a winner of the 2022 Olivier Award for Best New Musical.
