A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum is one of the funniest Broadway musicals ever written! Set in Roman times, this non-stop farce of a comedy combines the ancient comedies of Plautus with Vaudevillian delivery!
Psuedolus schemes to win the heart of the beauteous Phelia for his young master, Hero. Of course, chaos ensues with hair-brained schemes, severe cases of mistaken identity, slamming doors and convoluted plot twists!
In the intimate setting of The Strand, the audience is practically joining the show as a forum of Roman citizens. Togas optional.
