Please join us for this special concert reading of THE KING'S ARCHIVES by Brandon Riley, MFA Dramatic Writing candidate at Arizona State University. THE KING'S ARCHIVES tells the story of Donovan King, a queer studies professor. Taking place over the span of 20 years, we explore his friendships and his love life. As Donovan searches for his place in the gay black community, he is sometimes happy, he is sometimes sad, but for some reason, he is never fully fulfilled. He is aided in his quest life journey by his two best friends Aspasia Webb and Jermaine Turner. His life becomes further complicated when he falls in love with Cordero Slaughter down low, closeted gay man. This show contains adult themes and language. It's recommended for audiences 18+. Featuring: Quan Chambers, Raheem DeAngelo, Alexis Young, and Bray Lawrence. Director: Katie Farrell. Stage Manager: Dylan Prentis.
