An Optimist's Guide to the Dark Ages at The Phoenix Theatre Company

The Phoenix Theatre Company presents the 28th Annual Richard P. Stahl Festival of New American Theatre, featuring a diverse lineup that includes play readings, musical performances, and an improvised musical event. Among the highlights is a musical reading of An Optimist's Guide to the Dark Ages, written by Chris Dimond and Michael Kooman, where the world’s only optimist embarks on a comedic quest to end the Dark Ages. The festival runs from January 9 to 25, 2026, at the Judith Hardes Theatre, showcasing both established and emerging talent in the theatre community.
