BWW is always seeking talented theater enthusiasts to head up feature coverage our over 130 regional areas. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to review the shows of your choice, conduct interviews with local and touring talent, design features of your own choosing for publishing, and work/network with your local theater press reps to bring exposure to the theatrical offerings in your area.

All applicants should have excellent writing skills and an interest for giving local theaters and productions some prominence on BroadwayWorld.com.

Local Critics

Taylor Shiley

Taylor is a Charlotte native and current Junior at Temple University’s Klein College of Media and Communication, where he is pursuing a degree in Public Relations and Theatre. On campus, Taylor is involved with the performing arts through By You For You: A Student-Run Musical Theatre Company, where he serves as Director of PR; in this role, he helps facilitate and produce theatrical productions to make theatre accessible to students. He has performed both on stage and behind the curtain, at Temple University, Davidson Day School, Davidson Community Players, and at the Belk Theater at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center as a Blumey Award nominee for Best Actor (Mamma Mia, Mean Girls).
