People's Light will present Two Outta Three, a special limited engagement comedy cabaret created and performed by acclaimed Philadelphia theater artists, and real-life married couple, Jennifer Childs and Scott Greer. This is the first time Childs and Greer will be performing together at People's Light.

The production runs for 17 performances June 5–21, 2026 on the Steinbright Stage. Tickets start at $45 and are available for purchase now by visiting PeoplesLight.org or by phone at 610.644.3500. Subscribers enjoy 15% off tickets.

Two Outta Three offers a sharp, funny and deeply relatable look at what happens when life shifts and the nest empties. Blending comedy, music and storytelling, the show follows a couple rediscovering themselves—and each other—after their only child leaves home to start their “own life.”

“Two Outta Three is about that moment when life changes in ways you didn't quite plan for but also the unexpected joy that comes with it,” said Jennifer Childs, performer and co-creator of the piece. “We wanted to create something that lets audiences laugh at the chaos while recognizing themselves in it.”

Childs and Greer bring an authentic, lived-in chemistry to the stage, infusing the show with warmth, wit and musical flair. Audiences will recognize Childs' witty wordplay from her two original People's Light pantos, Alice in Wonderland and Peter Panto. Greer was last seen at People's Light in Stella and Lou in 2014.

“For us, this show is about rediscovery, of partnership, identity and humor in the everyday,” said Scott Greer, Two Outta Three performer and co-creator. “It's personal, but it's also universal.”

Presented as part of People's Light's 2025/2026 Special Presentations series, this production highlights the company's commitment to sharing the work of smaller, Philadelphia-based companies, building off earlier season collaborations including Theatre Exile's, Tommy and Me.

“Childs and Greer are the Nichols and May of Philadelphia, two of our region's most treasured theatre-makers with whom we've had the opportunity to collaborate with individually, but never together," said Zak Berkman, Producing Artistic Director of People's Light. "It's thrilling to present their wickedly funny and beautifully earnest Two Outta Three during this graduation season. As someone on the precipice of becoming an empty-nester myself, this show speaks vividly to me and I suspect will delight parents of every age and nest-size.”
