BaconFest at ZEPPELIN HALL in Jersey City Brings Home the Bacon

Bacon lovers should head over to Zeppelin Hall in Jersey City. Now through January 27th, New Jersey's favorite biergarten is featuring the grilled, crisp, flavorful meat in a wide variety of delicious, tempting dishes. Bacon is an ultimate comfort food and you can be assured that the menu items at Zeppelin Hall will totally satisfy your cravings.

Executive Chef Franco Robazetti has created twenty-two distinctive baconlicious selections that include apps, entrees, and sides. We stopped by on the first weekend of the fest and had the pleasure of sampling some of his creative dishes.

Start out with choices like creamy Bacon Guacamole served with chips, Bacon Wrapped Jalepeno Poppers or a Bacon Cheese Fondue for Two with crispy bacon strips for dipping. The Bacon Shrimp on the Barbie is some of the best we've ever had with six grilled jumbo shrimp wrapped in apple wood smoked bacon and served with a chipotle sauce. We love the Bacon Balls. The six meatballs are made with ground pancetta and bacon with just the right blend of spices and simmered in a marinara sauce. One of the unique dishes is the BLT Lobster Taco. The taco shells are all bacon stuffed with plump, juicy pieces of lobster meet and topped with salad and diced fresh tomatoes. There are even crowd-pleasing choices like Bacon Cheesesteak, Bacon Pad Thai, Bacon Sliders, Bacon Mac & Cheese or Bacon Quesadilla. Guests will like that many of these plates are ideal for sharing and go perfectly with Zeppelin Hall's extensive beverage program.

Top it off with more bacon. Desserts have the perfect combination of sweet and salty. Try the Bacon Wrapped Apple, Bacon Lollipops with a hard caramel shell, or the Chocolate Bacon Fondue.

Visit Zeppelin Hall while they "bring home the bacon." Free bacon strips will be served at the bar daily fro 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Their regular menu is also in place with items to suit every taste and style.

Zeppelin Hall is a destination for watching the football playoffs and the Super Bowl. With an enormous selection of beer on tap, wines and cocktails, it's a great place to kick back and relax while watching the big games.

There's always something new exciting happening at Zeppelin Hall. For the winter season, the venue's outdoor area is featuring a fully enclosed bar and fire pit area. There's also their new S'mores Bar where guests can make their own scrumptious gooey treats. This newly designed outdoor area gives you that warm, cozy feeling. On Thursday nights they have an Endless Happy Hour from open to close with special drink pricing.
