Atticus Finch might be the voice we remember from To Kill a Mockingbird- the classic story that Aaron Sorkin brought to Broadway this season- but Adam Guettel is the man who made Mockingbird sing. The Broadway composer traded musical theatre for drama this season as he created the score for the critically-praised hit. Tony Award-winning actress, singer and performer Idina Menzel's music video for her studio version of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" is out now. Watch/share the video HERE. The BARS program at the Public Theater has just finished it's second year of their Alumni program, where selected BARS members spend the summer developing their first full length works, under the mentorshop of Rafael Casal, Daveed Diggs and the NEW WORKS department.

The Public Theater will begin previews for the North American premiere of GIRL FROM THE NORTH COUNTRY on Tuesday, September 11 with a Free First Preview performance. This new musical was initially extended through Sunday, November 18, and has been extended an additional three weeks through Sunday, December 9
