Get a first look at George Street Playhouse (GSP)'s spring musical comedy event-- the Broadway/Off-Broadway hit The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Performances of this fresh and newly conceived production begin March 14th and continue through April 9th at the Arthur Laurents Theater at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center.

On Dec. 1st at Playwright's Horizons, the Huntington's Disease Society of America, Greater NY Chapter held their annual Curtains Up For A Cure concert & silent auction with proceeds benefitting Huntington's Disease research. The concert was Produced by Meredith Patterson, who (among other Broadway credits) originated the role of Judy Haynes on Broadway in Irving Berlin's White Christmas. Ms. Patterson reprised her role last year in the 2013 Broadway National Tour.

Legendary civil rights activist and author David Mixner just premiered Oh Hell No!, an evening autobiographical storytelling, in a special one-night-only event last week on October 27, 2014 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street).
