Be More Chill is getting its upgrade! The new musical will begin performances at Broadway's Lyceum Theatre (149 West 45th Street) on Wednesday, February 13 at 8PM. The official opening night is Sunday evening, March 10.

Will Roland joined AM to DM by BuzzFeed News this morning to discuss his return to Broadway as the star in the new musical, 'Be More Chill,' his real-life take on high school, how social media has affected theatre, and what Broadway revival he'd love to star in. During the interview he spoke about 1776 saying, 'I love 1776. It's a great show that does not get enough credit. It's all about this short, loud man screaming America into existence.'

He was a brilliant, groundbreaking creator of musical theatre who died tragically at the age of 35, before seeing the worldwide acclaim his work would receive. Jonathan was posthumously awarded Tony Awards and the Pulitzer Prize, and his songs have come to be treasured and performed in 25 languages, from Mexico to Japan to Italy, from summer camps to the silver screen to Broadway.

Fans have no chill when it comes to Be More Chill, the show making its off-Broadway debut now after taking the world by storm, seemingly overnight.

The New York Lottery and McCann New York have teamed up to create a new ad showing that the odds of falling in love with a stranger on the street are even smaller than winning the lotto. The commercial, composed by Be More Chill's Joe Iconis, shows a young couple who meet crossing the street. They proceed to sing a romantic song about how great they are for each other before realizing they just don't have much in common.

Broadway Records just released the original graphic novel rock album Monstersongs, with music and lyrics by The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical composer Rob Rokicki and illustrations by Dave O'Neill (Shankman & O'Neill Children's book series).

Ghostlight Records and Two River Theater have released the Original Cast Recording of the new musical BE MORE CHILL in digital formats today, October 30. Check out a special 'Making of the Cast Album' video -- featuring several songs along with exclusive footage of the recording session, the production and interviews with the cast and creative team -- below! The international digital release will be on Friday, November 13; with physical CDs in stores and online Friday, December 18.

Two River Theater presents the world premiere of Be More Chill, a new musical with music and lyrics by Joe Iconis and book by Joe Tracz, based on the acclaimed 2004 novel by Ned Vizzini. The press opening is tonight, June 5, and performances will continue through Sunday, June 21 in Two River's Rechnitz Theater, 21 Bridge Avenue, Red Bank, NJ.
