Last night, September 12, Angelica Ross ('Pose,' 'American Horror Story') made her Broadway debut in the role of Roxie Hart in Chicago.  Also joining the company on Monday were Brandon Victor Dixon in the role of 'Billy Flynn' and Amra-Faye Wright who returned to the role of 'Velma Kelly'. The Tony Award-winning, record-breaking musical CHICAGO opened this week in Brazil for a limited engagement at Teatro Santander through May 29, 2022. This Portuguese-language production stars Emanuelle Araújo as Velma Kelly, Carol Costa as Roxie Hart and Tony Award winner Paulo Szot as Billy Flynn, who recently starred in the Broadway production.

Chicago will celebrate 25 years on Broadway tomorrow Tuesday, November 16th at 6:30PM with a very special performance. At tonight's reopening of Broadway's Chicago, the show's director Walter Bobbie paid tribute to the production's legendary choreographer and original star, Ann Reinking, who passed away in December 2020.

The long-running revival of Kander and Ebb's Chicago returned to its home at Broadway's Ambassador Theatre tonight!
