Yesterday, March 22nd, the cast and creative team of Broadway's IF/THEN, including Idina Menzel, James Snyder, LaChanze, Anthony Rapp, Jenn Colella, Tom Kitt, Brian Yorkey took their final bows at the Richard Rodgers Theater.

This week's spotlight is on Joel Waggoner and Eric Price, whose new original musical PRESTO CHANGE-O is commissioned by Barrington Stage and directed by Marc Bruni (Beautiful). It tells the story of a family of stage magicians who find themselves living under the same roof for the first time in years. In this song, Tina, who is the family's maid and maintains their ever-growing collection of artifacts from the history of magic, reveals her larger ambitions. Michael Sterling (Creator/Executive Producer) and Barbara Van Orden (Sponsor/Co-Executive Producer) proudly presented the critically acclaimed and highly anticipated LA's Next Great Stage Star competitions. The 2015 season began in January, in North Hollywood, CA. at Sterling's Upstairs at The Federal.

On Monday, April 14, the Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present Tony and Drama Desk Award nominated songwriter Amanda Green and her Broadway friends in 'Amanda Green's Spring Trunk Show'. The musical event was a celebration of Green's trunkful of songs that were cut on their way to opening nights of Hands on a Hardbody, Bring It On, High Fidelity, and more. The cast included Kathleen Monteleone, Jenn Colella,Greg Naughton, Janet Krupin, Jay Armstrong Johnson, and Ryann Redmond. The musical director for the show wasMatt Gallagher.
