The Actors Fund in Los Angeles celebrated Broadway's Biggest Night at the 23rd Annual Tony Awards® Viewing Gala on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, CA. Hosted by Leslie Jordan, this year's star-studded gala honored Emmy, Grammy and Tony Award® winner Lily Tomlin with the Julie Harris Award for Artistic Achievement. BroadwayWorld's own Michael Sterling and Paul Preston of Digital Mind Productions were on hand for the festivities which included coverage of the evening's red-carpet arrivals, cocktail hour, gala dinner, live performances, silent auction, and the West Coast's exclusive live feed of the 2019 Tony Awards® broadcast from New York City.
Tony Award winner Betty Buckley (Broadway's "Cats," "Sunset Boulevard," "The Mystery Of Edwin Drood, "Song & Dance, "Pippin," "1776," "Triumph Of Love" and "Carrie"; M. Night Shyamalan's "Split"; and TV's "Eight Is Enough") was honored with the Julie Harris Award for Artistic Achievement on Sunday, June 11 at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles.
The Actors Fund celebrated Broadway's Biggest Night at the 19th Annual Tony Awards Viewing Party on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles. Sponsored by Wells Fargo and hosted by Daytime Emmy Award winner and three-time Tony Award nominee Kate Burton, this year's gala raised $250,000 and honored Tony's Leading Men Theodore Bikel ("The Sound of Music," "Fiddler On The Roof"), Tim Curry ("The Rocky Horror Show"), Alfred Molina ("Love Is Strange") and Joe Morton ("Scandal") with the Fund's Artistic Achievement Awards. BWW TV's Los Angeles on-air host and producer Michael Sterling was on hand for the festivities.
BWW TV's LA Correspondent/Co-Producer Michael Sterling and Videographer/Co-Producer Jordan Santacana were front and center with the stars attending the Actors Fund 18th Annual Tony® Awards Live Viewing Fundraising Party made possible by Tony® Awards Productions, Inc., the American Theatre Wing, the Broadway League, Direct TV and CBS. Wells Fargo presented the evening Sunday, June 8, 2014 at the Skirball Cultural Center's new Guerin Pavilion/Herscher Hall in Los Angeles which was reported by event producer Luke Yankee to have raised $300,000.
