Signature Theatre presents Grand Hotel, the Musical directed by Signature Theatre Artistic Director Eric Schaeffer (Broadway's Gigi, Follies, and Signature's Titanic) and choreographed by Kelly Crandall D'Amboise(Signature's Light Years). Set in 1928 Berlin, a series of eclectic guests and staff including a fading ballerina, a destitute baron, a wannabe-starlet typist and an ailing bookkeeper collide at the bustling Grand Hotel. Grand Hotel the Musical runs from April 2, 2019 - May 19, 2019 in Signature Theatre's intimate MAX Theatre.

Natascia Diaz, Claybourne Elder, and Steffanie Leigh are starring in Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's musical Passion at Signature Theatre. This new production is directed by Associate Artistic Director Matthew Gardiner(Signature's Sunday in the Park with George, West Side Story). Passion runs through September 23, 2018 in Signature Theatre's MAX Theatre.

Ford's Theatre Society presents its 35th-annual production of Charles Dickens's A Christmas Carol, now through December 31, 2016. This 'musically high-spirited' and 'infectiously jolly' (The Washington Post) production is adapted by Michael Wilson, directed by Michael Baronand features Craig Wallace as Ebenezer Scrooge. The Ford's Theatre Society 2014-2015 season continues with the musical Freedom's Song: Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War, directed by Jeff Calhoun, March 13 through May 20, 2015, at the historic Ford's Theatre (511 Tenth Street NW, Washington, D.C.). A new adaptation of the Broadway musical The Civil War, Freedom's Song features the words of Abraham Lincoln and music inspired by the letters of those who lived through the Civil War. The production is part of Ford's 150: Remembering the Lincoln Assassination, a series of events marking the 150 years since Abraham Lincoln's assassination at Ford's Theatre.
