The Royal Shakespeare Company's Matilda The Musical has announced that Lily-Mae Evans, Kitty Peterkin and Savannah Read will join Emma Moore in the title role of Matilda from 12 September 2017. The multi award-winning production is about to enter its seventh year in the West End and is booking at the Cambridge Theatre until 27 May 2018.

Transatlantic songwriting duo Anderson & Petty returned The St. James Studio over the holidays to present 'An Anderson & Petty Christmas' featuring a host of West End and TV stars stars.

SHOW BOAT will be sailing from Sheffield to London when the Crucible's hit production transfers to the West End this spring. The Daily Mail writes that stars Gina Beck, Emmanuel Kojo and Rebecca Trehearn will move with Daniel Evans' production of the classic musical from April 9 at the New London Theatre. Olivier nominee Michael Xavier, who played 'Gaylord Ravenal' in the original production, will not reprise his role, as he will be starring opposite Glenn Close in SUNSET BOULEVARD at the London Coliseum. Alexandra Silber and Gina Beck joined the John Wilson Orchestra for the encore at the BBC Proms, paying tribute to Leonard Bernstein with their rendition of America from West Side Story.

Kerry Ellis, Ben Forster and Louise Dearman appear on the new recording of Alexander S. Bermange's three-person musical The Route To Happiness, which was embraced by critics and audiences alike during its run at London 's Landor Theatre last year. This album of the complete show includes new and reconceived material that BBC comic songwriter Bermange has created for the musical since its premiere production, and is produced by Mike Dixon, one of the UK 's foremost Musical Supervisors.

The annual festival West End LIVE - organised by Westminster City Council and the Society of London Theatre, in association with MasterCard - returned to Trafalgar Square yesterday, 22nd June and continues today, 23rd June 2013, for a weekend of free entertainment from some of London's top theatre productions and performers.
