After getting some closure with Carly, Shaun (Freddie Highmore) musters the courage to tell Lea (Paige Spara) that he loves her and wants to be her boyfriend. But is that what Lea wants?
After Shaun (Freddie Highmore) and Carly (Jasika Nicole) bump into Lea (Paige Spara) and a date at karaoke, it's awkward. But they get over it, and end up singing karaoke and having a great time -- except for Carly.
After a social media influencer (guest star Chelsea Alden) posts a photo of Shaun (Freddie Highmore) on her accounts, Shaun feels like his privacy has been taken away, and isn't happy. And when the influencer allows her fans to decide on which surgical method to choose, Shaun is disappointed.
Shaun (Freddie Highmore) goes back home to Wyoming to visit his dying father (guest star Michael Trucco) to get some closure, and let his father have some as well. But instead, Shaun loses his temper and unloads on his father, telling him he's a bad person, and that he killed Shaun's rabbit -- and blames him for his brother's death as well.
