'Humbled and Inspired' star of stage and screen Hugh Jackman (now back on the boards in The Music Man) has released a holiday message to the Broadway community, straight from the Winter Garden Theatre on Broadway where the show recently began previews.

Hugh Jackman paid tribute last night to the 'bedrock of Broadway' - understudies and swings while bringing forward Kathy Voytko who filled in for Sutton Foster on Thursday night in the Broadway show.

Today we rewind to 2015, when Dames at Sea was getting ready to arrive on Broadway. The musical opened on October 22 at the Helen Hayes Theatre, where it ran for 85 performances. Directed and choreographed by Randy Skinner, it starred John Bolton, Mara Davi, Danny Gardner, Eloise Kropp, Lesli Margherita, and Cary Tedder.
