Stars from the worlds of Broadway and American Idol have come together to lend their voices to address the growing divide in America.
The Southland Theatre Artists Goodwill Event (S.T.A.G.E.) just presented its 33rd annual gala, 'Idols & Icons,' at the historic Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills. This was the last S.T.A.G.E. show after 33 years. AIDS has not been cured, and the fight continues through APLA Health Services, despite the fact that the show has now taken its final bow in L.A.
Elitch Gardens, now in its 21st year downtown since relocating from northwest Denver, remains one of Colorado's the most popular entertainment destinations. It now features a vast array of modern roller-coasters, and because many of 'The 12' cast members from the DCPA Theatre Company are thrill-ride aficionados, the staff at Elitch's invited cast members Tuesday to ride the famous Carousel, which dates back to 1927 - and two coaster rides: The Brain Drain and the Boomerang. The theater community recentky kicked off The Fantasticks 50th anniversary year with an early curtain of the show and a post-performance cocktail reception at The Snapple Center on Monday May 4th. The beloved hit also recently welcomed a number of new cast members, including the charming young actress Ramona Mallory as 'Luisa.'
