Stars from the worlds of Broadway and American Idol have come together to lend their voices to address the growing divide in America.

The Southland Theatre Artists Goodwill Event (S.T.A.G.E.) just presented its 33rd annual gala, 'Idols & Icons,' at the historic Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills. This was the last S.T.A.G.E. show after 33 years. AIDS has not been cured, and the fight continues through APLA Health Services, despite the fact that the show has now taken its final bow in L.A.

Elitch Gardens, now in its 21st year downtown since relocating from northwest Denver, remains one of Colorado's the most popular entertainment destinations. It now features a vast array of modern roller-coasters, and because many of 'The 12' cast members from the DCPA Theatre Company are thrill-ride aficionados, the staff at Elitch's invited cast members Tuesday to ride the famous Carousel, which dates back to 1927 - and two coaster rides: The Brain Drain and the Boomerang. LES MISERABLES will preview on Friday, May 30, 2014 (with a press opening on Saturday, May 31) and run through Sunday, June 22, 2014 at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, 14900 La Mirada Blvd in La Mirada. Yesterday, November 14th, the cast of Paper Mill Playhouse's The Sound of Music, directed and choreographed by James Brennan, met the press. Cast for the show includes Edward Hibbert (Max Detweiler), Anthony Fedorov (Rolf Gruber), Ben Davis (Captain) and Elena Shaddow (Maria), Chelsea Morgan Stock (Liesl), and more. The theater community recentky kicked off The Fantasticks 50th anniversary year with an early curtain of the show and a post-performance cocktail reception at The Snapple Center on Monday May 4th.
