Last night, July 21, Matthew Morrison and Laura Michelle Kelly performed a concert with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in honor of Pioneer Day. The pair, who co-starred together in Finding Neverland on Broadway, sang a repertoire of Rodgers and Hammerstein's music.
Today marks Yul Brynner's 4,000th performance of the title role in The King and I which played at the Pantages Theater in Los Angeles. Brynner also did the film version of the musical.
Next up for the National Tour of The King and I, which won a Tony Award for Best Revival in 2015, is Houston's Hobby Center, where it will play March 14-19.
