Nickelodeon today announced it is adding TV's number-one comedy series, Young Sheldon, to its Nick at Nite programming lineup this fall.

HBO Max — the WarnerMedia streaming platform that launched this week — has acquired the exclusive U.S. subscription-video-on-demand rights to the hit comedy Young Sheldon in a deal with Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution. HBO Max is also the streaming home of the entire library of The Big Bang Theory, the longest-running multicamera comedy in television history; all 279 episodes of Big Bang are available on the streamer now.

The Actors Fund has teamed with SiriusXM Broadway host Seth Rudetsky and his husband, producer James Wesley, to produce a daily mini-online show, entitled Stars in The House, featuring stars of stage and screen singing and performing live (from home!) on social media to promote support for The Fund's services.

Deadline reports that Craig T. Nelson has joined 'The Big Bang Theory' spinoff 'Young Sheldon' in its upcoming third season. The series airs on CBS. 

CBS announced today that it has renewed hit sophomore comedy YOUNG SHELDON for two additional years, beginning with the 2019-2020 broadcast season.

Continuing its commitment to fund innovative efforts in STEM education, The Chuck Lorre Family Foundation (TCLFF) today announced the creation of a new grant program - THE YOUNG SHELDON STEM INITIATIVE - inspired by the hit comedy series Young Sheldon. The program was created to foster excitement for learning in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), specifically in support of our nation's public schools, teachers and students. Young Sheldon executive producer/TCLFF founder Chuck Lorre enrolled fellow Young Sheldon executive producers Steven Molaro and Jim Parsons, Warner Bros. Television Group and CBS to co-fund two-year educational grants totaling more than $600,000.00 which will be awarded to 19 select elementary, middle and high schools in Southern California, where Young Sheldon is primarily produced, and East Texas, where the show is set.

CBS announced today that the hit freshman comedy YOUNG SHELDON is the Network's first renewal for the 2018-2019 broadcast season.

Beginning today, for the next five days fans can stream the premiere episode of YOUNG SHELDON on YouTube with limited commercials in advance of the series' return on Thursday, Nov. 2 on the CBS Television Network.
