Playwright, and Emmy Award winner, Elliot Shoenman will return to the Odyssey Theatre with his newest play A Heap Of Livin', which includes original music by David Shire (Oscar/Grammy Award, multiple Tony/Emmy noms). Elliot's work, the Ovation Award nominated AfterMath, starring Annie Potts, played to sold-out houses at the Odyssey last season, launched by the Inkwell Theater.

Acclaimed cinematographer Harris Savides, who worked on such films as MILK and ZODIAC, has died at the age of 55. The cause of his death is not yet known.
Fort Worth Opera revealed today the names of the composers whose works have been selected for participation in the first season of the company's exciting, annual new works program, Frontiers, making its debut May 6 - 11, 2013. Louis Phillips has joined Focus Features as the worldwide film company's executive vice president, physical production. Focus president Andrew Karpen, to whom Mr. Phillips reports, made the announcement today.
