THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL Announced At ArtsKSU

The Stillwell Theater stage will soon be transformed into the undersea world of Bikini Bottom as Kennesaw State University University's Department of Theatre and Performance Studies (TPS) presents The SpongeBob Musical from April 7th to 17th.

CCCT Shows Off Its 'Hattitude' With The Gospel Musical CROWNS, April 15- May 15

Contra Costa Civic Theatre concludes its live, in-person Main Stage season with the musical Crowns by Regina Taylor, adapted from the book “Crowns: Portraits of Black Women in Church Hats” by Michael Cunningham and Craig Marberry. Directed by Kimberly Ridgeway, with music direction by Branice McKenzie and choreography by Jennifer Frazier, Crowns plays for 15 performances from April 15-May 15.

Harvard Square Stands In Solidarity With Ukraine with Demonstration This Sunday

On Sunday, March 20th at 4:30 p.m., Cambridge artists, Ross Miller and Yolanda He Yang, will wrap the Charles Sumner statue in Harvard Square in solidarity with the people of Ukraine. The statue is located directly across from the First Parish Church at 1446 Massachusetts Avenue.  

Guitarist Jason Vieaux to Release BACH VOLUME 2: WORKS FOR VIOLIN

On Friday, April 1, 2022, GRAMMY Award-winning classical guitarist Jason Vieaux will release Bach Volume 2: Works for Violin on Azica Records. A follow up to his critically acclaimed 2009 Azica album, Bach Volume 1: Works for Lute, Volume 2 completes Vieaux's Bach cycle with J. S. Bach's Partita No. 3 in E Major, BWV 1006.

Latoya Raveneau Signs Overall Deal With Disney Television Animation

Writer/producer/director Latoya Raveneau has entered into an overall deal at Disney to develop and produce animated projects with preeminent animation studios Disney Television Animation and 20th Television Animation and includes terms for live-action content development. The announcement was made by Ayo Davis, president, Disney Branded Television.
