YOLA Performs In Two Concerts At The Hollywood Bowl

Musicians from YOLA (Youth Orchestra Los Angeles) across three sites YOLA at EXPO, YOLA at HOLA, and YOLA at Torres will perform in two concerts this summer at the Hollywood Bowl. On June 15, 33 YOLA musicians will join the first half of the evening with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra conducted by Thomas Wilkins for Opening Night at the Bowl with John Legend.

Anais Mitchell and More Complete Lincoln Center Out of Doors Lineup

Lincoln Center today announced additional artists to the Out of Doors 2019 lineup. Blood Orangeperforms on August 1. Opening the night is singer and cellist Kelsey Lu. David Crosby & Friends and Tony-nominee Anais Mitchell complete the AMERICANAFEST NYC lineup, joining Patty Griffin and Yola on August 10-11.

The Black Keys Debut Music Video For New Song GO

Today, The Black Keys release the music video for their new song “Go,” from their upcoming album “Let's Rock.” The video is directed by Bryan Schlam and finds the band struggling to reconnect after five years apart. Patrick Carney says, “It was great making this video with Bryan, partially because it was filmed at the very type of place it is making fun of,” and Dan Auerbach adds, “The video was fun, but we still haven't spoken.” Watch the video for “Go” here.

Brandi Carlile Confirms 2nd Annual Girls Just Wanna Weekend Lineup

Brandi Carlile's Girls Just Wanna Weekend—a destination concert vacation produced byCloud 9 Adventures in partnership with The Bowery Presents—will take place at the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotel in Riviera Maya, Mexico from January 29-Febraury 2, 2020 and once again feature an all female-fronted lineup. In addition to multiple sets from Carlile, the festival will include performances by Sheryl Crow, Lake Street Dive, Patty Griffin, Lucius,Wanda Sykes (comedy set), KT Tunstall, Jade Bird, Amanda Shires and Yola as well as special guests Ruby Amanfu, Natalie Hemby and Katie Herzig.

Courtney Love To Play Acoustic Set at Yola Fest

Today, Los Angeles based, Swedish vocalist, producer, and songwriter Lykke Li announced YOLA FEST -- a day long festival in celebration of the arts, culture, and music by the women of today.  YOLA Fest will take place at Los Angeles State Historic Park on June 8th, starting at 3pm and will feature a rare, special acoustic set from Courtney Love & The Chateau Band.   The festival also boasts an all-female lineup that will include sets from Lykke Li, Charli XCX, Cat Power, CupcakKe, Megan Thee Stallion, Ambar Lucid with more artists to be announced. Tickets will be on sale starting Friday, April 5th at 10am PT at yolafest.com.

The Black Keys Announce 31-Date North American Tour

This morning, The Black Keys confirm their extensive, thirty-one-date arena tour of North America. The 'Let's Rock' Tour will hit cities including Chicago, Nashville, New York, Los Angeles, and Austin (full dates below). Special guests Modest Mouse will provide support on all dates, and Shannon & The Clams, *repeat repeat, and Jessy Wilson will each open select shows on the tour.
