Fresh off the heels of his sold-out “Live and In Person 2023” North American tour, John Mellencamp confirms its continuation with “Live and In Person 2024.” Mellencamp will perform for one night only at New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) in Newark, on Sunday, March 10th at 8:00 p.m.

Boston's Folk Americana Roots Hall of Fame (FARHOF) presents Sarah Lee Guthrie & The Mammals playing an Acoustic Brunch at City Winery Boston on Sunday, November 12th at 12pm.

Working with engineer Logan Matheny (Colony House, Hiss Golden Messenger) and mixer Shani Gandhi (Sarah Jarosz, Sierra Hull), the band approached the recording sessions for the album as live as possible, embracing the organic feel of their concerts with the help of double bassist Erik Coveney (Sierra Hull, Dave Barnes).

Consisting of guitarist Isaac Horn, mandolinist Lincoln Mick, and fiddler Bailey Warren, the genre-bending trio wrote and recorded Welcome in their hometown of Nashville, TN, working with engineer Logan Matheny (Colony House, Hiss Golden Messenger) and mixer Shani Gandhi (Sarah Jarosz, Sierra Hull). The band have also shared a music video.

Charlotte Morris' has released a new single 'Your Number One'. The song, from her upcoming fall album, is based on personal experience. Morris reflects, 'There were amazing times, but there was also a lot of pain. Talk about workin' through it ... it was tough, but I feel like I grew stronger from that heartbreak - and I got a good song out of it.'

John Mellencamp—Orpheus Descending—is out now on Republic Records. Orpheus Descending was produced by Mellencamp and recorded at his own Belmont Mall Studio. One of his most personal records to date, standout tracks “Hey God” and “The Eyes of Portland” focus on social issues Mellencamp continues to passionately advocate for.  

Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum continues its 50th anniversary repertory season with A Perfect Ganesh, the magical, poetic, Pulitzer Prize nominated play by Tony Award-winning playwright Terrence McNally. Mary Jo DuPrey directs for a Saturday, July 15 opening on Theatricum’s beautiful outdoor stage in Topanga, where performances continue through October 7.

Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum will continue its 50th Anniversary Summer Season with Queen Margaret’s Version of Shakespeare’s War of the Roses, a new edit of Shakespeare’s best-known history plays — Henry VI Parts I, II and III and Richard III — compiled by artistic director Ellen Geer.
