Moonhorse Dance Theatre marks 25 years of Older & Reckless with a special anniversary program November 21–22 at Harbourfront Centre, featuring works by Marc Boivin, Louise Bédard, William Yong, Sonia Rodriguez, Carol Anderson, Julia Sasso, and more.

The Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts (TAPA) has announced nominations for the 45th Anniversary Dora Mavor Moore Awards presented by the Romano D’Andrea Foundation. The Awards will be presented on Monday, June 30 at Toronto’s Meridian Hall.

Red Snow Collective will present Carried by the River (流源夢), a poignant and thoughtful theatrical work, by playwright Diana Tso, directed by William Yong. This original production runs from March 8 to March 23, 2025, at Tarragon Extraspace, offering audiences a deeply moving journey through myth, memory, and self-discovery.

Continuing the 21.22 season, Theatre Passe Muraille will present the World Premiere of TOKA, written by TPM's Associate Artistic Director Indrit Kasapi and directed by Cole Alvis. This digital co-production with lemonTree creations' culminates the company's multi-year residency with Theatre Passe Muraille and will stream online from April 20th to 23rd.

Fall for Dance North (FFDN), in partnership with TO Live, announces a special, in-theatre film screening of FFDN's 2021 Signature Program dance film at Meridian Hall (1 Front St. E) on Oct. 14 at 7pm, in strict compliance with public health protocols and seating capacity limitations. An innovative three-part global dance film, the digital presentation features three stunning performances shot on location in India, Cuba, and London (UK) and directed by award-winning Indo-Canadian filmmaker Vikram Dasgupta.

Reversing the fall of humanity and restoring the Garden of Eden in the technological age - DANCEWORKS presents the World Premiere of ZATA OMM's EDEN PLANTED. The 40th Anniversary Dora Mavor Moore Awards for the 2018-2019 season were handed out in a star-studded celebratory ceremony in Toronto on the evening of Tuesday, June 25 at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts, hosted by the multi-talented, multi-award-winning Rick Miller, well-known for his widely acclaimed one-man shows that include MacHomer, BOOM and Bigger Than Jesus (Dora Award for Outstanding Performance, 2006).
